Swimming Pool for Resorts

Resort Swimming Pools are usually huge and freeform, thus alleviating problem of surface debris removal. This makes it imperative to carefully design the water flow around the pool and particularly around shallow areas where the bather load may be extremely high. For this reason, we prefer to use the deck level system for such large pools.

Deck level pools have got their name from the fact that the level of water is same as the level of surrounding pool deck. The skimmers are replaced by an overflow channel and through which water overflows constantly into a balance tank, from where it is pumped into the circulation system. The quality of filtration achieved by deck level swimming pool filtration systems is far superior to other conventional systems albeit at the cost of deck space around pool.

Due to the extra construction and addition of perimeter channel grating, deck level pools usually are more expensive than skimmer type pools, but are well worth the price.

As shown in the photograph, a deck level overflow pool is great to look at, and there are a variety of materials available to finish the ever-important edge detail of the pool. Plastic grating is a popular choice, but the overflow channel can also be covered by stainless steel or natural stone grating.

Hotel swimming pools are designed to be stylish, have absolutely perfect water conditions and need to be available for use at least 18 hours a day. There is a definite trend nowadays for hotels to install pools indoors that have outstanding style, high quality materials and workmanship, this ensures that the hotel guests will get years of use and pleasure from the pool, whatever the outside weather may be.

These pools can be extremely busy so the filtration needs to be designed to heavy duty so that the water quality is not affected by the running on full capacity during peak season. The internal pool finishes need to be easy to clean and the pool surround needs to be anti slip.

Hydrotherapy Pools

Hydrotherapy pools are pools that are run at a higher temperature than normal pools and also have massage jets and other water features. The temperature is set just about body temperature so that you have a warm feeling & the moving water massages you in a way that only water can. The water gives you buoyancy that takes the tension off most parts of the body.

Technology Pools specialise in design and manufacture of the purpose built massage stations and bubble seats that are the most important part of a hydrotherapy pool. The movement of the hot water in a hydrotherapy pool is enough in many cases to provide relief for arthritis and similar pains.

A hydro pool should always be operating with supply of fresh filtered water when in use and for some period after to remove the body fats and other solids which are introduced because of the high water temperature and activity in the pool.
